- Are there other languages available?
- No, except for the Austrian Flora section (in German).
- Why are there no other languages?
- English is an international language, as is the terminology.
- Is there something planned for multilanguage support?
- Are there future projects being planned, which would be interesting for the palynological
community?
- Can you help me with palynological problems?
- Yes, but not extensively. Describe your problem precisely, kind of problem (technical, scientific, ...),
specify materials and machines you use, give the time range for an answer.
- Do you hold courses on palynological techniques?
- Yes, the Department of Palynology and Structural Botany does hold practica in the course of studying
biology/botany (lectures). If necessary the Department of Palynology and Structural Botany can also organize a training for you.

- Can I use pictures from PalDat for my purposes?
- If you are a private person and you want it just for private use - yes. No need to ask the "Society for
the Promotion of Palynological Research in Austria" unless you are an artist or use the picture on
an invitation, folder, ...
- If you are an educational institution - yes. We ask you to contact the "Society for
the Promotion of Palynological Research in Austria" for a written permission and
expect a voucher of the catalogue, book, ... for our archive.
- If you are a company - yes. In any case you have to contact the "Society for
the Promotion of Palynological Research in Austria" for a written permission and
a contract. Each photograph costs 160 EUR excl. VAT. The photograph is electronically sent in
300 dpi, 4 cm x 6 cm, grayscale, RGB or CMYK.
- Do you conduct research for others?
- Yes, the Department of Palynology and Structural Botany does research for third parties.
