We hope you enjoyed our pictures, our terminology and you benefited from PalDat.

In the background of PalDat many people - staff, as well as diploma students of the Department of Palynology and Structural Botany - are working to increase PalDat's data and to run the website, www.paldat.org.
In the past, the Department of Palynology and Structural Botany received funds to develop PalDat and to maintain it. The financial support by the "Österreichische Nationalbank" (Austrian Federal Reserve) is gratefully acknowledged (Project no's: 6259 and 7409). We also wish to thank Markus Schwaiger from MSEDV, Vienna, who generously helped us with the domain registration.
From 2005 onwards, the "Society for the Promotion of Palynological Research in Austria" as the manager and copyright holder of www.paldat.org is striving to setup a network of contributors and to add much more data to PalDat more quickly than before.

Due to this fact the "Society for the Promotion of Palynological Research in Austria" took over www.paldat.org as an official publication. We encourage you - if our website and services were useful for you - to give a little bit back. Not for ourselves - for PalDat, the largest and fastest growing pollen database in the web.
